Syllabus

Textbook
We will be using MTH 05 Lecture Notes, by Andrew McInerney. The textbook is freely available. Students in the class are required to download the book and have an electronic or hard copy with them during class.
Homework
Electronic Homework using the WeBWorK system will be assigned at the end of each class. You are required to complete the homework within 7 days of the assignment. Grading
Besides the homework that counts for 13% of your grade there will be four in-class exams each counting for 13% of your grade. The final exam for this class, like all Elementary Algebra classes throughout CUNY, is the CUNY Elementary Algebra Final Examination, and counts for 35% of your grade.
