Important Dates (for my classes)
Tuesday September 1 - First day of our class
Tuesday October 13 - No Class (for us!) - classes follow Monday schedule
Friday November 6 - Last day to withdraw with a "W"
and last day to submit Pass/No Pass form.
Thursday November 26 - No Class (Thanksgiving!)
Thursday Decembrer 10 - Last day of class (for us!)
December 15 to 21: Final Exam Week
(you must be available in-person for the final exam during this entire period!)
Software Information
Download Anaconda or if that gives you trouble
Just Download Juypter Notebook
Video: Installing Anaconda/Jupyter (Not the slickest video, but maybe it helps!)
Try Jupyter Online!
Create and work with Jupyter Notebook file: Extension ".ipynb"
To get a blank worksheet:
At the top left, click on "File --> New Notebook"
For Python, select "Python 3" as your "Kernal"
To name a worksheet: Click "File --> Rename" at the top center (can also do after downloaded)
To save a worksheet: Click "Download" at the top right
To upload a worksheet:
Click "File --> Open" at the top left
Then click "upload" at the top right
Then click on your uploaded file
