My Background

Since 2012, I've been a professor at Bronx Community College (C.U.N.Y.) in New York City. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. I had a short postdoc at Charles University in Prague for half of 2004, followed by a postdoc at Instituto Superior Tecnico in Lisbon, Portugal, that ended in 2009. I then taught in the the mathematics department at Queens College (C.U.N.Y.) for a year and a half. I also spent a year and a half as a professor at St. Joseph's College (New York), and finally I landed at my current position in the Bronx.
