Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) Regulations and Guidelines

The Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) provides the following graphic aids as a guide for institutional review boards (IRBs), investigators, and others who decide if an activity is research involving human subjects that must be reviewed by an IRB under the requirements of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations at 45 CFR part 46.

CUNY Office of Research Conduct

The Office of Research Conduct is located within the Office of Academic Affairs at the CUNY Central Office and works in concert with the President of the Research Foundation. The Office provides compliance and oversight, education, policy and advisory services university-wide. This manual is intended as a guide for faculty, students, fellows, staff, and any other members of the City University of New York (CUNY) who plan to carry out research, whether funded or unfunded, involving the participation of human subjects. It provides basic information about what materials are needed to apply for human subjects approval and how to do it.
