About me:
I am a professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bronx Community College, the City University of New York. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from Virginia Tech in 2008.
I am originally from China. The proper pronunciation of my name is Quanlei Fang . You can also call me Shelley.
Research:
My primary research interest lies in the areas of multivariable Operator Theory, Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis and Operator Algebras. I am also interested in the applications of multivariable operator theory to systems/control theory and mathematical finance.
