Homework

Electronic Homework using the WeBWorK system will be assigned at the end of each class. You are required to complete the homework within 7 days of the assignment. The homework will be graded automatically and will count for 10% of your grade. You can access the homework page for this class here: Webpage for Homework

Grades

Your grade in this class will be determined as follows: There will be homework, three in-class midterms, taking a whole session each, and a final exam. The homework counts for 10% of your grade, the quizzes count cumulatively for 10% of your grade, the midterms count cumulatively for 40% and the final exam counts for the remaining 40%. In sum:

Homework 10%
First Exam 20%
Midterm 20%
Third Exam 20%
Final 30%

In addition there will be several quizzes both in-class and take-home and those will count as an extra 10% extra credit.

Tutoring lab

Tutoring help for this class is available through the Department's Tutoring Lab and takes place at the Leraning Commons (ME SB005) from 10 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays. On Sundays there is tutoring available on CP 303, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
